Getting around in Florence

How to get around Florence? You can choose between buses, trams, taxis and bikes but the best choice is a nice walk to enjoy the city and discover the hidden corners.
Sleeping in the center is not always an expensive option and will allow you to walk around.

An ecological and fascinating solution is to enjoy the views of the city on a rented bike. For some years now there is a bike sharing service used by tourists to quickly reach the various attractions.

Bus to Florence

The city of Florence is served by about 100 bus lines and a night service called "Nottetempo".

The main lines are the C1, C2, C3 and C4 which are power lines and the 12 and 13 which lead up to Piazzale Michelangelo from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Florence.

The night service Nocturnal active from 22 to 2 runs through several neighborhoods. The timetables and routes of the line are not fixed, but defined according to the bookings of users (with departure and arrival in the areas served).

You can buy tickets at stops or directly on the bus.
